Get Coding was founded because of the need for local developers with the required abilities. Founders recognized this need as they started and grew their prior tech companies. Thanks to this experience, Jan and Sahand created the program they wished they had made when learning to code.
Get Coding has worked to help people learn the most in-demand technical skills ever since it was founded in 2017.
Sahand Seifi joined Jan Mertlik in 2019 to revive Get Coding (which was paused for a couple of years), as he had previously noticed a significant need for qualified developers who could use modern languages and technologies. Jan and Sahand fully relaunched Get Coding in the fall of 2019.
