Get Coding was established because tech startups needed local developers with the necessary skills. As founders started and developed their earlier tech companies, they became aware of this need. The idea was to make the program they wished they had while learning how to code.
In 2019, Sahand Seifi partnered with Jan Mertlik to revive Get Coding, a program that had been on pause for a few years. Recognizing the demand for skilled developers proficient in modern languages and technologies from his previous role, Sahand joined forces with Jan to relaunch Get Coding in the fall of 2019.
