Get Coding is an amazing and welcoming group! The program allows you to learn at your own time from experienced coaches, who actually work in the industry. I loved that the program is tailored to you and your experiences and goals. You get to pick your own projects and work with coaches that are knowledgeable in that area. I started with Get Coding while working in the Alberta construction industry, having never before written a line of code. We pair you with a instructor who works as a software developer for a local tech company, with whom you will work one on one for a number of months.
Then under the guidance of our instructors, you build projects that you want to build, using the technologies we tell you to use.
Our program's unique structure allows you to code and learn when you can. So regardless of your situation, you can learn with us. The program takes up to 12 months.
We know how big of a step you are making and that your story is unique. We take a personalized approach to help you get confident in becoming a software developer and helping you leverage your existing skills.
No group classes, just you and a professional software developer giving you feedback on your code and answering any questions you might have.
Throughout the program a dedicated career coach will work with you one-on-one to best prepare you for a career in tech.

It doesn't matter if you are coding at 1PM or 1AM, as long as you are spending around 15h per week you will be able to learn how to code with us.
Want to have your weekly session on the weekend? No problem, we match students with instructors who have similar time preference.
