Meet with your coach

During your weekly one-on-one, your coach will help you break down the project into small tasks and give you feedback on the code you already wrote.

Between sessions you try to finish as many tasks from your coach as you can. If you ever get stuck, you can always reach out to them and ask them for help.

How does it work

Forget everything you know about training, we have developed a unique, highly effective way to get people coding.

  • We match you with a real software developer who meets you weekly
  • They teach you how to code and build real software applications
  • No exams, no classes. Just you learning how to code from an actual developer.

Frequently Asked Questions.

What am I actually paying for?

You are mainly paying for the 1-on-1 coaching session, during which we provide you with code review, industry insights, and direction to complement your training. We also curate the resources we think will get you to your goals quicker and provide you with 24/7 troubleshooting for when you get stuck.

How do I get into Phase II?

If you are accepted into Phase I, it does not mean you will automatically be enrolled into Phase II. After Phase I is over, the Get Coding team will review your experience and performance. If you enjoy the structure of Get Coding, and we are happy with your performance, you will be given admission into Phase II.

How long is the program?

It takes between 6 - 12 months, depending on how quickly you learn, how much time you spend and what projects you choose to build.

What technical knowledge is required to join the program?

Nothing really. Curiosity for technology and being comfortable with your computer and browser.

Does everyone get into the program?

We reserve the right to refuse entry to our program to anyone.

What do you look for when accepting a new student?

We generally look for commitment and aptitude for learning how to code. As well as an understanding of the local, and global tech sectors. We test this by using our Admission Project and evaluate the student based on their Admission Interview answers.

How big of a commitment is this?

We believe you need to dedicate at least 15 hours a week to practicing to see results. You can stop at any time. There is no long-term commitment.

Do you offer a certificate for completing the course?

We do not believe certificates are a good measure of technical skills. You shouldn't either. Instead, we focus on you building a real portfolio of live projects that "wow" others.

How does the payment work?

You can learn more about how payment works on this page.

What if I pay upfront and need to withdraw from the program?

We want to provide an accessible education, so if your situation changes we are happy to provide a refund. The refund is calculated by taking your initial upfront payment and then taking away the number of attended sessions multiplied by$250.

So let's say you paid $6,000 upfront and want to withdraw after having 4 sessions (about 1 month in), you would receive a refund of $5,000.
